“DON’T WORRY GOD’S GOT ME”

There’s a story of a man and God. And it goes like this:

A man was stuck in a hurricane and watched as the water slowly started to rise and he said to himself…

“I’m not worried Gods got me”

After a while his neighbors called him and asked if he was okay and if he wanted to join them on their boat. He replied.

“No thank you, Gods got me”

After his neighbors left the water had continued to rise. So he ascended to the second floor. He found a life jacket and thought to himself.

“I won’t need this, Gods got me.”

The water continued to rise and pretty soon the man was on the roof. In the distance he saw a helicopter approaching. The helicopter hovered over his house and with a megaphone the rescue helicopter asked the man if he needed rescuing. The man again replied.

“I’m good, Gods got me”

Several hours later no one else had come and the man drowned.

When he got to heaven and met God he asked him angrily.

“What happened I thought you had me!?”

And God replied…

“I DID.. I SENT YOU A BOAT, A LIFE JACKET AND A HELICOPTER!”
